Japan got a few shakes today, nothing big but probably shook a few people up a bit. Other quakes in Iran, Chile, Tonga, Dominican Republic, Indonesia and the southern Pacific. Some notable 4 magnitude quakes as well, one south of Crete in particular could mean more activity in that region and 1 at the Turkey and Iran border region is a continuation of the recent activity there and stresses on that earthquake zone.
The Iranian 5+ quake today is on the southern end of the same fault system and the on-going activity at both ends of this fault system may be a reason to keep a closer watch on the area.
