Differences

At work today I had to do the monthly patch of Windows. Normal, pain in the butt, reboot and hope it still works.
I get home my Debian machine has updates, what you too?
Ok click the button it says it can handle it. Then it pops up a message, updates done. What no reboot? Nope no reboot.

Not only that, you can use KSplice Uptrack with Debian to live patch the kernel.

    http://packages.debian.org/search?keywords=ksplice

It works really well in my experience.
