Diabetes tester and software

As a diabetic I use a blood glucose tester daily. And my glucose levels are not always where it should be and like any other data trending, analysis and reports are always a good thing.

I use an accu-chek compact plus meter and it has memory and an infrared port for transferring data back to your computer and there is software available. Now if you have diabetes and use a modern meter it probably has ability to transfer to your computer (and you have one of those apparently 🙂

I find my ability to do some basic analysis and show the charts to my doctor and dietitian  are helping me to control my blood sugar levels. So I recommend that you check if you can get the software to get the data from your meter OR check with your pharmacy if they can pull the data off, make you the charts or give the data to your personal doctor.
