Nice blog on the volcano that erupted from the  Eritrea/Ethiopia  earthquake cluster last month. They have sat pictures and info about the lava flows and how the eruption is progressing and showing the tongues of lava and explain why the flow doesn’t come from the top of the cinder cone.

As we all know there has been a number of quakes in that area and each time it’s a cluster of quakes all in a short period per cluster. The cluster that started these volcanic eruptions was on June 12 this year and followed the cluster just east of there and off shore.
